All Saints Church and the Methodist Chapel; having spent a few years joining together for Festivals, Easter Christmas and Harvest, Finally became a Local Ecumenical Project (LEP) on 20th January 1993.

The decision was made to call ourselves Wistow Village Church and not Wistow Village Churches to show ourselves as one united body of people who worship God in their own individual ways and to promote the Gospel of Jesus throughout the village. We do work very well together and have many times been given as an example to other communities of how an LEP can be successful.

Worship is shared between the two buildings on alternate Sundays.

1st Sunday  9.00am Holy Communion BCP                     All Saints Church

2nd Sunday 9.00am Family Service or Holy Communion  Methodist Church

3rd Sunday 11.00am Family Holy Communion                 All Saints Church

4th Sunday  Same as 2nd

5th Sunday  Alternates between church and chapel

Since we joined with Cawood and Ryther this arrangement works well as the vicar only comes here two Sundays a month which leaves him free to be at Cawood every week and Ryther alternate to us.

Baptisms are either in the Family Communion or privately at 12.00pm or 12:30pm

Family Service in October is a Pet Service. Another very popular innovation
