Neighbourhood Watch Scheme

The Parish Council are going to revive the neighbourhood watch scheme in the village

Volunteers are needed from the village to act as

co-ordinators.

If you are willing to take part in the scheme, please contact Parish Council clerk Jim Wildash on 268459

SPONSOR A WEEK

Please don’t forget, your village church yard doesn’t take care of itself. A weeks care costs £20. You can donate that amount and add your name to the sponsors of this worthwhile task.

If you do nothing else in the village than contribute to this worthy cause, then your money is appreciated and admired by many.

WISTOW WINS TWO REPRIEVES

Villagers fight against Selby District Council proves fruitful. Things are looking better for Wistow as it looks like the village will be downgraded to a Secondary Village in SDC Core Strategy Document. SDC’s response to the Gypsy petition is also looking favourable. We will continue to monitor the situation as nothing is certain until its signed and sealed.
