Community Well Being and Dog Walkers

As the Chair of the Village Hall committee and trustees could I highlight a problem that is becoming bigger day by day?

The land the village hall stands on and the playing field around it was left to the community to improve its well being and for the benefit of all. Sadly dog walkers are allowing their dogs to foul this area. The playing field at the village hall is now the sports field for the school and in that regard it is not healthy for dog faeces to be spread all around it and leaving a task of cleaning it up prior to use. Could I ask dog walkers to respect the wishes of our predecessors and respect the community as a whole and refrain from letting their dogs foul the area?  I would expect that the village green should be treated likewise.

Thank you to all responsible dog owners who uphold this request.
